*The term ”Shipper” refers to the customer placing the order and agreeing to the terms and conditions herein. The “Shipper” agrees that they are the owner of said vehicles in the order placed or an authorized agent for the owner. The term "Carrier" refers to the carrier/driver contracted to fulfill said order.

1. Corporate Auto Transport agrees to have the vehicle(s) described on order shipped on or about the dates requested. Corporate Auto Transport will locate a licensed Carrier (agent) to fulfill the terms and conditions of this agreement. The scheduled Carrier will route Shipper's vehicle(s) from pickup to delivery by a suitable route and does not agree to any specific routing. Corporate Auto Transport does not guarantee a specific pickup or delivery date and is not liable for any car rental or accommodation fees etc incurred for the Shipper and/or his agent(s) due to pickup/delivery early arrivals or delays. Dates are always estimates and cannot be guaranteed without extra costs, which have to be in writing. Dates can only be Guaranteed by manager approval and have to be in writing, time of day can never be guaranteed. If Corporate Auto Transport fails to uphold the Guarantee, Corporate Auto Transport is held liable for the 'Guarantee fee' (up to $200) only and the Shipper will be due a refund of his/her guarantee fee. If Shipper has paid their deposit for their order, they are accepting the price quoted and Terms and Conditions herein.

2. This order is subject to all terms and conditions of the Carrier’s bills of lading, copies of which are available at the office of Carrier and are incorporated herein.

3. Carrier’s responsibility begins when the shipper or his agent hands over their vehicle and/or signs the bill of lading at pickup with the carrier, and terminates when the shipper or his agent accepts vehicle and/or signs the bill of lading at delivery. Corporate Auto Transport must be notified, should the shipper be unavailable for pickup or delivery, and his agent must be designated at that time. If a carrier is scheduled/sent out and vehicle cannot be picked up there will be a mandatory additional $75.00 rescheduling fee and the carrier may charge an additional dead head fee if he was already enroute for Shipper's vehicle. If a carrier is assigned to the Shipper's order and the carrier cancels for any reason after dispatching occurs it is understood by the Shipper that it is of no fault of Corporate Auto Transport's that the driver canceled and Corporate Auto Transport will try to locate another carrier to reschedule Shipper's order with but there are no refunds due to the Shipper after scheduling a driver whatsoever. Corporate Auto Transport will try to reschedule Shipper's order with no rescheduling fees incurred for the Shipper due to this situation.

4. Corporate Auto Transport hereby notifies shipper that their vehicle will be driven on and off the transporter, or to and from the transporter at the pickup or delivery site. Pickup and delivery will be from your door (except for off-shore shipping), but some limitations such as cul-de-sacs, steep inclines, or weight restrictions etc. can make it impossible to meet at a shipper's door. Should the carrier be unable to access either site, this does not relieve the consignee from making a reasonable effort to meet the truck at a suitable location. In order to fully pick-up or deliver your vehicle you must be willing to travel up to 5 miles from the designated pickup or delivery point. In rare cases, if you are in a very rural area an auto transport hauler may request at time of scheduling to meet a customer at a closer location to an accessible city for pick-up and/or delivery and this may be the only option available from time to time for the shipper and shipper understands that they should make a reasonable effort to agree to a more convenient pick-up or delivery location at the time of scheduling the order. Shipper has the right to decline the available driver if he's requesting to meet shipper at a different location than the shipper ordered, but the shipper understands they may be subject to a cancellation fee in the future if the order is cancelled for any reason after turning down an available driver.

5. All vehicles to be delivered with a balance due to the carrier shall be paid by CASH or CASHIER’S CHECK ONLY (US funds), POSTAL MONEY ORDER can occasionally be substituted at the carriers approval. If choosing to pay by Cashier’s Check it should be drawn off a major United States bank and made payable to the specified carrier. Should delivery be attempted after attempted notification (3 to 24 hours voice notification to phone numbers provided by shipper) and shipper or his agent does not have proper funds or is unavailable to receive delivery, vehicle(s) will be taken to and left at the nearest terminal/storage facility at the discretion of the carrier, where shipper will have to retrieve and pay for all storage and/or redelivery fees in addition to their balance due to retrieve their vehicle. Note: Placing Shipper's vehicle(s) into a terminal/storage facility of carrier's choice at the expense of the Shipper will also happen if the Shipper has not paid their Deposit to Corporate Auto Transport before time of delivery as well.  All Vehicles being shipped as an Off-Shore or PREPAY are due in full at the time of placing the order and can be paid by credit card with a $50 handling fee, unless otherwise noted in the order by a manager, or pay by cashiers check as listed in the Payment Options above without a handling fee, and all prepays have to be received in our office before we can schedule your vehicle for pick-up.

6. Corporate Auto Transport does not guarantee transport by any specific driver/carrier.

7. If you are shipping an inoperable vehicle, you may be required to help load and unload said vehicle at the discretion of the driver. Should vehicle(s) become inoperable during transport, $200.00 will be due at time of delivery in addition to any other moneys owed. It is shipper’s responsibility to make sure vehicle is in proper working order. Problems, such as but not limited to, a dead battery, bad alternator, loose cables, etc that makes the vehicle inoperable during transport will increase the transport price by $200.00. If the carrier contracted shows up to the pickup location and discovers the vehicle(s) is different in make, model, size, etc. than what is listed in the order, additional charges of up to $600 will be added on to the balance that is to be collected at delivery and will have to be paid in full to retrieve vehicle. Carrier does have the right to decline to take the vehicle at pickup in this situation as well and the shipper will be subject to a mandatory $75 rescheduling fee, to be paid to Corporate Auto Transport in addition to their deposit already paid. If shipper decides to discontinue transport altogether, shipper understands they are forfeiting the deposit paid to Corporate Auto Transport and no refund will be due to the shipper.

8. Corporate Auto Transport or its agents will not recommend transporting vehicles with personal or household items in the passenger or trunk compartment. NO Flammables, guns, ammunition, narcotics, etc. can be shipped in/on the vehicle(s) whatsoever. Federal regulation prohibits Corporate Auto Transport or its agents from doing so. Shipper agrees that any personal or household items can be confiscated or disposed of by Corporate Auto Transport or the carrier transporting said vehicle(s). If such items are shipped, such items become the sole responsibility of the shipper. This is Federal Law and under no control of Corporate Auto Transport. Any cost, damages, sit time, or citations issued to Carrier due to or caused by excess weight of vehicle(s) or personal items in vehicle(s) will be the sole responsibility of the Shipper. If personal items are inside the vehicle when the driver shows up and they were not disclosed to us when setting up the order, shipper understand they may be charged an additional fee for the weight from the driver of up to $150 on average. If shippers are putting personal items inside the vehicle even though we do not recommend this it is always at their own risk and they can be held liable for extra fees mentioned herein. Other terms and conditions with your specific carrier may apply to this request but should be noted on the carrier's Bill of Lading for the shipper to review at pick-up.

9. Corporate Auto Transport or its agents will not be responsible for vandalism, acts of God (fire, flooding, hail, sand storm, tornadoes, earthquakes) or objects flying from the road or sky during transport. Shippers should maintain their own insurance for these reasons. Enclosed transport is available at a higher price if necessary to help ensure the condition of the vehicle. Corporate Auto Transport is not liable for any damage to shipped vehicle(s) and all claims must be given to the carrier who transported the vehicle(s) directly.

10. Shipper is responsible for preparing the vehicle(s) for transport, all loose parts fragile or protruding accessories, low hanging spoilers, fog lights, antennas, etc., must be removed and/or properly secured. Any part that falls off in transit is shipper’s responsibility, including damage done by said part to any and all vehicles involved.

11. If damage should occur, all moneys owed for transport must be paid in full to initiate a claim. Shipper agrees that he/she will pay all moneys due to Corporate Auto Transport and the contracted Carrier for delivered vehicles, and will not seek to charge back credit card to offset and dispute for damage claims or services rendered. United States Department of Transportation regulations require that the full balance due be paid to the driver before the vehicle(s) can be removed from the transporter. Shipper agrees to bring any legal action for damages against the transporting Carrier only and agrees to release Corporate Auto Transport LLC from any such claims. Damage must be noted in the proper place on the bill of lading at time of delivery, and signed by driver and shipper, regardless of weather, or time of day. Signing the bill of lading without any notation of damage verifies that shipper or his agent has received the said vehicle in good condition, and that Corporate Auto Transport and its agents are relieved of any further responsibility. Shipper or his agent MUST check vehicle thoroughly and ask for a copy of the inspection report if one is not offered. The inspection report is the shipper's evidence of damages during transport.

12. Corporate Auto Transport and its agents must also be notified of any damage by phone within 24 hours. Shipper must submit in writing a description of damage, clear pictures, and 2 estimates within 7 days of receipt of said vehicle directly to the designated carrier for any resolution to be initiated. Corporate Auto Transport will support the shipper in this effort should such a problem occur, but in no way will Corporate Auto Transport accept responsibility for any negligence of the assigned carrier. If your vehicle is valued at a higher than market rate, we suggest you purchase a special insurance rider OR pursue the enclosed transport option.

13. There of, shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Multnomah County, Portland, Oregon. Shipper specifically waives any right to judicature of this matter at any other location. Corporate Auto Transport can only be liable for up to the amount of the deposit located on the order in dispute. In no case can Corporate Auto Transport be held liable for the designated carrier’s damage. Corporate Auto Transport will provide the carrier's insurance certificate and carrier information should any controversy arise. The prevailing party in any litigation initiated under this agreement shall be entitled to reasonable attorney's fees and court costs incurred.

14. If you place an order with us, you have the option to cancel it at any time. A $75 cancellation fee will be incurred for all cancellations unless otherwise noted herein or in writing, due to our time and effort spent on the shipper's order from the time it is placed. This fee will be taken out of the deposit on file and the balance will be refunded to the shipper. If your vehicle is already scheduled with a carrier or we have a driver we can schedule it with at any point, your cancellation fee is the full amount of your deposit, unless otherwise agreed upon by management in writing, due to several factors including the fact that the driver contracted will now have an empty space that may not get filled in. It is Corporate Auto Transport’s goal to only get paid if we perform the service of Auto Transport Broker. All Cancellations must be done by phone and are not guaranteed canceled if emailed. Note: your order has not been canceled until you receive a confirmation email stating it has been canceled.

15. Every order can be placed on hold and is valid for up to 9 months from the date it is placed because Corporate Auto Transport's main goal is to satisfy the customer and complete the auto transport (this is useful in cases that have to postpone their shipping dates etc.). Once the customer would like to proceed with transport sometime during the 9 month period, the quote may have to be adjusted to reflect current industry pricing and this is understood by the shipper. After 9 months, Corporate Auto Transport has the right to cancel the order and no refunds are due to the customer.

16. If shipper has placed an order at a “Price Match” or "Stand-By" Shipping rate, Shipper understands there is no guarantee the vehicle will be picked up at this rate and Corporate Auto Transport may advise the Shipper to raise their price after 5-10 days of trying to locate a carrier to schedule the pick-up at these rates. Shipper understands that raising the price may be necessary to actually get the vehicle scheduled for pick-up as price and location are two main factors that get all vehicles moved from point A to point B and we cannot guarantee that all drivers available on their specific route will accept the lowest quoted price the shipper was given by our competitors or our stand-by quote. This option helps Shippers get the lowest possible rate to transport their vehicle(s) and is only recommended for flexible shippers without any date restrictions. When an order is placed at a these rates, we are trying to locate a driver with a filler spot or a driver willing to transport the vehicle(s) for a less than standard rate for their specific route. No dates are guaranteed at these rates. We will try to secure the stand-by or price-matched rates for up to 2 weeks without a price adjustment, but at 2 weeks of working on the order shipper understands that their original standard shipping quote may increase if the going rates are increasing for their particular route and their representative may advise them of this change and shipper is agreeing to this change because all quotes are only good for a period of 2 weeks. There is always a $75 CANCELLATION FEE incurred if Shipper decides to cancel their order before getting the vehicle scheduled for pick-up, even if the customer has agreed to raise their rate due to the time and effort spent on the order trying to get it secured at the lower rates for the shipper. Shipper agrees that Corporate Auto Transport has the right to cancel any order placed at a "price-matched" or "stand-by" quote if Corporate Auto Transport has been trying to schedule the order for Shipper for 3 months or more and the Shipper refuses to raise their quoted price for the driver's to a more average rate (approximately our current standard shipping quote) to help get it scheduled and if Corporate Auto Transport cancels the order because of this then the deposit becomes Non-Refundable at that point.  Please note: If we locate a driver that we can schedule for pick-up of the vehicle at or close to the stand-by or price-matched quote (including carriers at prices within $150 of our standard shipping quote) then the shipper must take the option or continue to wait for a different driver who may take it for a lesser price, but if shipper chooses to wait for a different driver then shipper understands we will continue trying to secure a different driver for the transport at a lower rate but the shipper will forfeit the deposit paid in full if they decide to cancel at any time after we have turned down a driver for the transport previously. Our priority is to get the vehicle transported in a safe and timely manner.

17. If Shipper has placed an order at the "Standard Shipping" or "Enclosed Shipping" rate, the vehicle is quoted to be scheduled within 1-5 business days of the vehicle's first available ready date and in rare cases if the vehicle has not been scheduled after being available for pick-up for 5-10 business days, Corporate Auto Transport will review the price quoted in the order and may advise the shipper to raise their price to help get it scheduled. Occasionally, our quoted rates may not be exact, but Corporate Auto Transport's priority is to always give honest rates to move all vehicles in a safe and timely manner considering all requests in your order. If we try to move a vehicle at our Standard or Enclosed Shipping Quotes for at least 10 business days from the stated ready date in the order and have not been able to schedule it at or close to the quoted price (within approx. $150 of the original quote per vehicle), the client has the right to cancel and receive a full refund of their deposit. Please note: If we locate a driver that we can schedule for pick-up of the vehicle at or close to the quoted price in your order (including carriers at prices within $150 of our standard/enclosed shipping quote) then the shipper must take the option or continue to wait for a different driver who may take it for a lesser price, but if shipper chooses to wait for a different driver then shipper understands we will continue trying to secure a different driver for the transport at a lower rate but the shipper will forfeit the deposit paid in full if they decide to cancel at any time after we have turned down a driver for the transport previously. Our priority is to get the vehicle transported in a safe and timely manner.

18. If Shipper has placed an order as "Expedited" the vehicle is quoted to be picked up within 1-3 business days of the vehicle's first available ready date and in rare cases if the vehicle has not been scheduled after being available for pick-up for 6 business days, Corporate Auto Transport will review the situation and price quoted, but the Shipper has the right to cancel with NO Cancellation fees incurred if we are unable to move the vehicle in an expedited manner at or close to the quoted price for this service (within approx. $150 of the original quote). Please note: If we locate a driver that we can schedule for pick-up of the vehicle at or close to the quoted price in your order (including carriers at prices within $150 of our enclosed shipping quote) then the shipper must take the option or continue to wait for a different driver who may take it for a lesser price, but if shipper chooses to wait for a different driver then shipper understands we will continue trying to secure a different driver for the transport at a lower rate but the shipper will forfeit the deposit paid in full if they decide to cancel at any time after we have turned down a driver for the transport previously. Our priority is to get the vehicle transported in a safe and timely manner. Our goal is to move the shipper's vehicle(s) quickly and safely.

19. Corporate Auto Transport is a licensed and bonded Property Broker. We are responsible for booking the shipment of cars with a licensed and insured Motor Carrier, who handle their own damage claims. It may take a few weeks to process your claim, since the drivers must return to their terminals with the original Bill of Lading condition reports. Corporate Auto Transport does not transport your vehicle or ensure it's transport. Corporate Auto Transport provides the services of finding a licensed (by the Dept. of Transportation) & insured (we personally receive a current insurance certificate from each carrier) Auto Transport Carrier and logistically bringing the Carrier and the Customer together.

20. Corporate Auto Transport will not be responsible for demurrage at any Port Facilities. Actual port fees vary and each vehicle is allotted a certain amount of days to be picked up once it reaches the port and any days the vehicle(s) is stored at the port after the allotted free storage time can incur daily storage charges and are to be paid by the shipper. If Corporate Auto Transport has contracted with the shipper to get a carrier to pick up said vehicle(s) from the port and deliver said vehicle(s) to a given destination, Corporate Auto Transport will do everything in their power to get a carrier there to pick up said vehicle(s) during the free storage allotted time to limit any extra storage costs for the shipper. If Corporate Auto Transport can not get a carrier to the port within the free storage allotted time given by the port, then any additional storage charges are the responsibility of the shipper and Corporate Auto Transport cannot be held liable for these fees in any circumstance. Shipping off-shore requires all vehicles to be clean, with 1/4 tank of gas or less, no items whatsoever inside the vehicle and no cracks or chips in the windows at all. All vehicles will be thoroughly inspected and will be denied vessel boarding if the vehicle does not meet the vessel boarding requirements.

21. Corporate Auto Transport is not responsible for any port fees, taxes or duties involved with International Shipping whatsoever. Any destination charges and importation through the destination port are ultimately the responsibility of the receiver. Corporate Auto Transport also recommends all shippers hold their own marine insurance policy for their vehicle's international/marine vessel transportation because marine insurance is not included in price quotes unless otherwise noted in writing. Responsibility becomes that of the Shipper for all marine transportation when the shipper, his agent, or the designated carrier signs the bill of lading at delivery to the port to await vessel boarding and any disputes arising after delivery to the port are between the shipper and the Marine Cargo Carrier.

22. All off-shore shipping will be required to be paid in full at the time the order is placed when shipping from mainland to off-shore locations. If paying by credit/debit card, it is understood that there may be two separate charges on your credit card statement for the broker and vessel charges if necessary, which both charges will not exceed the agreed upon total price by the customer and Corporate Auto Transport.

23. By Shipper submitting an order online or by phone, Corporate Auto Transport understands Shipper has read the terms and conditions and is placing an order and accepting the terms and conditions (in lieu of a signature) found here and on Corporate Auto Transport’s web site. By sending a cashiers check to Corporate Auto Transport OR by giving your Credit Card information to PayPal OR one of our representatives to book your order with us, you are agreeing to all of these Terms & Conditions.

24. Customers must make their vehicle available during the scheduled transport time, if the vehicle becomes unavailable for pick-up or a client cannot be reached at the phone numbers provided at any time after the order has been placed and a carrier has been assigned, Corporate Auto Transport holds the right to cancel the order with no refund. If the shipper has double-booked this vehicle transport with another auto transport company besides Corporate Auto Transport and their contracted carriers for any reason whatsoever than the client is forfeiting all deposits paid to Corporate Auto Transport when the order needs canceled due to the vehicle now being unavailable for pick-up. Double-booking hinders our process in scheduling vehicles and we reserve the right to cancel any order Double-booked with other companies and no refund is due to the shipper in this case.

25. Corporate Auto Transport is not responsible for any quote misquoted, which can happen on rare occasions due to wrong zip codes, wrong vehicle type, wrong dates, miscalculating, etc. and prices can be adjusted as reasonable and necessary. If shipper has misrepresented the vehicle type, size, or locations and it is found that the price quote should be recalculated due to this misrepresentation, then the Shipper understands that this was their duty to represent the vehicle and locations as truly is and will accept the new price quoted by Corporate Auto Transport. The Shipper has the right to cancel their order in these cases and will lose their deposit paid.

26. Shipper understands and agrees to the following: all quotes are good for 2 weeks from the time the quote is requested and if a shipper's ready date is 2 weeks or more away then the price quotes can be adjusted as necessary to reflect the going rates at the time. This can happen for example in orders placed as stand-by rates or orders that are placed well in advance of the vehicle's ready date to move. If there needs to be a price adjustment the shipper will be notified by Corporate Auto Transport and shipper agrees to the new price or shipper can cancel their order with a $75 cancellation fee incurred. Corporate Auto Transport's priority is to get the vehicles transported timely and safely.

27. Corporate Auto Transport will process all refunds as soon as possible, typically within 1-14 days. Due to merchant processing times, it is understood that all refunds can take 2-8 weeks to show as credited to your credit/debit card considering merchant processing procedures. It is also understood that Corporate Auto Transport is not responsible for any bank overdraft fees or other fees incurred while processing a refund. Shipper understands that if a refund is due back to the Shipper's card on file for any reason and they have not received it after at least 3 weeks of processing time from the date their order was canceled then they will contact Corporate Auto Transport immediately to check on the status of their refund and will give Corporate Auto Transport a fair amount of time to fix any accounting errors and make sure the refund is rendered back to the shipper's debit/credit card immediately. If Shipper does not follow this process and/or they submit a Chargeback for their deposit or carrier fees that were paid by debit/credit card at any time within 2 months of canceling their order then they will no longer be due any kind of refund from Corporate Auto Transport if one was previously owed to the Shipper and the Shipper understands that they may be charged or invoiced to pay an additional $75 for the Chargeback process placed on Corporate Auto Transport. Corporate Auto Transport has this condition in place to make sure there is a fair amount time to process all refunds or fix any mistakes by Accounting.

*Neither Corporate Auto Transport LLC nor its agents shall be responsible for the following:

 - Damage caused by failure of factory tie-downs or pull through from tie-down holes.

 - Damage to, or caused by any vehicle that cannot be driven on or off the transport under its own power. (Vehicle will not run, or has lost its braking system).

*Note: Carrier may have additional guidelines for damages that are not covered by his/her insurance. It is the shipper’s responsibility to read the actual carriers bill of lading for his/her specific coverages at pick-up before signing the bill of lading and releasing the vehicle. If the shipper has an acceptable concern and will not agree to the terms and conditions that the actual carrier requires, the deposit is not refundable but there will be no rescheduling fees charged if the shipper wants Corporate Auto Transport to reschedule with another driver. If there is an unacceptable concern of the shipper, the deposit is not refundable and the Shipper will have to pay a $75 rescheduling fee if they would like Corporate Auto Transport to reschedule with another driver or the shipper can cancel the transport and the Shipper will lose his/her full deposit at that time. As always, Corporate Auto Transport will do everything they can to try to satisfy the Shipper. Please call Corporate Auto Transport if there is a concern and we will assist the situation as much as possible. Acceptable and unacceptable concerns are decided by the broker and/or carrier contracted.

**Corporate Auto Transport reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
