• U.S. Customs  - This work will be done for you to get the final approval on your cargo, including the required export forms. You will have to supply all commercial invoices and sign export instructions.

• Foreign Customs  - Foreign Governments may request duties for your cargo shipment and may have laws that will impact your shipment. Please be prepared to provide receipts with your shipment. When dealing with a foreign government through this process, our International cargo shipping provider can assign an agent to help you. Of course, you can always select your own as well. Also, we do our best to inform you of all potential charges that you may acquire from your foreign destination, but destination charges and importation through the destination port are ultimately the responsibility of the receiver.

• Liability and Insurance  - By Maritime Law, steamship companies are limited to a liability of no more than $500 per vehicle. It is strongly recommended that you purchase your own insurance that covers your vehicle and shipping charges while on the ship. The two types of policies are: Full Coverage and Total Loss. Our International shipping provider will provide our customers with a full line of marine insurance needs to meet all budget considerations.
  • Full Coverage: replaces the cost of the car, dents, scratches and shipping costs. 
  • Total Loss: is less expensive and covers ONLY replacing the value of the car.
    

• Documents Required  - Documentation varies from country to country and required paperwork changes continuously. Typically, you will need a clear title and a bill of sale for the vehicle, but this will be addressed with each specific shipment.
